And my is all the time 5-10..

Should I be worried? Doctors said no but I think its pretty high :/

She had ultrasound and everything. Does ca125 bounce just of nothing?

Gooooood friday to everyone ❤

Below 35 is within the 'normal' range however there can be false positives and false negatives - My reading was 30 when I was diagnosed but I had loads of other indicators that I had cancer and the CLA 125 reading was only one test. My normal seems to now be 13 to 14.

Many many things can influence the level, and the doctors will be looking at all the other indicators and symptoms. Try not to compare your reading with your daughters as we are all different.

Have a great Friday too

I can understand that - if your daughter has other symptoms then everything will be taken into consideration. If her test was just to see what her level was then try and put it to one side or it will become something you focus on to the detriment of both you and her.

Once treatment is given then the docs monitor any rises in CLA levels generally over three readings - plus noting any symptoms of course. Lots of things can also influence the readings, colds, infections, etc etc

It's good to be watchful however there's a fine line between that and paranoia !!! As most of us can attest to at one time or another !!

My mum has OC, and a post treatment level of 8. My level was 31, but the following year was 19. I have now discovered that CA125 moves a lot in pre-menopausal women - the time of the month can cause huge fluctuations.

I wouldn't worry. The range my oncology department work within is 0-30 as normal, but it fluctuates, a bit like weight really. My cousin lost her Mum to OC, her reading is 54, and is all clear. She just has a high reading.

Try not to worry about this anything under 35 is normal. Depending on your daughters age, it could well be hormonal. I take it she has no symptoms, 125 may rise with infection in the body as well.

She have a lot pains and things but everything is normal. I think she is stressed because of mine situation.

Perhaps you could steer her gently to a Cancer Support Centre which will meet patients family/ We are lucky we have such a centre here in the City. I can pick up the phone or visit and my family could if they wish. They offer counselling and different therapies. Perhaps even ask a family member to speak to her or if she has a good friend. It might be beneficial for her to speak to someone other than you. Just a suggestion!
