Hi girls I'm 66 & did the 10K Target Ovarian Cancer in Edinburgh on Sunday. I had total de bulking op & chemo 5yrs ago. Everything good. Unfortunately over a year ago I had a recurrence, I'm now on a LOGS trial some side effects but hey ho if I didn't have them I wouldn't be here. Simples. All I want to say is keep on keeping on & never give up.

What a great picture and how wonderful that you did the 10K😊🌷🌷

I was diagnosed with stage 2 low grade serous on July 24 th, debulked and now on Letrozole.

Why couldn't they operate? Were you on any hormone maintenance after the chemo?

What stage are you and what sympthoms did you have during recurrence?

Glad they are now doing more trials for this rare cancer and hopefully will achieve more effective treatments in the near future.

I was diagnosed as stage 3 & after op & chemo I was totally fine with no hormone maintenance. Good for 4yrs then started getting wee niggles in my pelvic area. My CA125 was starting to rise, then CT Scan confirmed it was back & it was low grade serous I was offered the chance of the LOGS trial & jumped at it. It was a random selection & I was lucky enough to get on it.
