I went for a lovely long walk in Co Wicklow which is on Irelands east coast today and I thought to myself how lucky am I to live on this little island at the edge of Europe........even when it is bucketing down with rain!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

Nothing beats being outside in such a beautiful location, especially when the sun is shining but even in the rain. Great photo.

Absolutely love the Wicklow mountains. Stunning 💜 I represented Wales my country with my horse and did a 25 mile endurance ride over thease. It was outstanding . And an amazing experience.

My daughter is up near there for a concert and yes it is pouring down. Lucky for her she opted to stay in Hotel in Bray. I have been there, quite some time now. We did little walks not long ones. Have a great weekend D. It's raining again down in Cork forecast not great

Beautiful photo. I love Wicklow. There really is nowhere quite like Ireland, both North and South for such fantastic scenery. Ann xx

How absolutely gorgeous that is!!! I am rather landlocked in the U.S., although there are beautiful smaller locations that I could see. Unfortunately, I have neither the energy nor feel well enough right now to enjoy :( Would love to see Ireland someday, along with Scotland & Wales....sigh.

Being 1/2 Irish on my Moms side (McAuleys and Scannells) I have always wanted to visit Ireland. What a lovely part of the world you live in.

Dia dhuit D. What a lucky girl you are. I'm one of the Kavanagh's of Cork so my heart is drawn to Ireland all the time. Lived in Scotland for a while before France and have the same feelings for the west coast there. France is lovely of course but it's always the homeland which draws you back. Enjoy xx
