wow, this one has certainly taken the wind out of my sails ......fatigue is incredible, my bones hurt everywhere , bran fog is extreme and I'm so emotional its crazy, tablets have kept the nausea at bay, thank goodness, feel like my body is shutting down and there is nothing I can do about it...on the plus side I have seen lots of Wimbledon .....guess this is normal as I know Carboplatin is a bugger for being accumulative.....xx

Hi Yes it is and I well remember what you are feeling like just now. Remember be kind to yourself, if it means you spend time in bed or on the sofa channel hopping (gotta love day time TV ..... lol) or reading a book or simply sleeping then make sure that's what you do. Trust me, anything else can wait. You will start to feel better soon, just listen to your body. Sending you a big but gentle hug xxxx Kathy
Thank you hunny , it's sometimes hard to just chill but guess I'm having to listen to my body xxxxxx
Trust me I know how hard it is to chill especially if like me you are a person who is on the go a lot, but the best way is literally to do nothing - oh and lose any feelings of guilt!. I once took about an hour to dry some washing up (2 plates, 2 cups and some cutlery) because I had to keep going to rest! Madness or what lol. Trust me that washing, ironing etc will still all be there! xxx
So agree with Kathy,
Housework can wait, dust only reaches a certain height! and remember, take any help that is offered, even if you are normally independent.Lots of cat naps and don't feel guilty,

We bought the box set of misomer murders at the beginning of my chemp. Worth every penny! (Other box sets may suit some people better.)
I like that programme, just wouldn't want to live there..... or thereabouts.....
Yes I've got into Game of thrones and Vikings ! Thank you ladies it helps so much knowing that it is normal !! Managed a walk across the beach this morning after my hip X-ray! Now feet up on the sofa xxxx
I watched GoT back-to-back last year when I was having chemo...suspect I slept through more than I watched, but at least I caught up with my hubby, who has been a fan since day 1. New series starts tonight!
Sometimes making a cup of tea is like climbing a mountain, but in our circumstances it's an achievement ... I "lose" a few days each treatment cycle, napping on the sofa, but I just try to go with the flow. Don't beat yourself up for needing to rest - your body is actually doing a lot of work dealing with the cancer and the treatment. Take care of yourself. Best wishes, Dawn
