Hi my fellow warriors , I would like to share my good news to all of you, I've been to see my consultant oncologist this morning to discuss result of my CT scan, this was my 3 month post chemo treatment. Very happy with the result, I'm now Ned ( no evidence of disease ) my Ca 125 was 4 the lowest so far. So hoping and praying that the beast will not come back for a very long time!! I'm now feeling much relax and will continue to eat healthily, as I managed to eat like a horse when I was having treatment, my appetite was so huge I was craving for sweets and biscuits which was before diagnosis it's a big no no for me. I don't like chocolates! Which my husband think was not normal. Lol Although I still feel pain at the sole of my feet , my consultant said it was the result of chemo as its accumulative, the joint and muscle ache is because of avastin which I'm to continue until October . But hey ho I'm alive so as long as I can take it I'm fine with it..Now time to book some holidays!!Thank you ladies for listening to my nuttering!
Love to all of you and enjoy the good weather for now.. Xxx

So happy for you!! That's wonderful. Mine was 12.3 on my 3.5 month checkup. Next test is July 13. My feet are starting to feel better a little at a time. Don't get discouraged. Six months after my last chemo I'm starting to get hair. It's probably about 2" now but curly and wavy. It may be the style, but I don't like it on me. However, thankful that I don't have to wear a wig. xoxo
Congratulations on your NED, I'm really pleased for you, get a fab holiday booked and enjoy some R & R. Don't forget the sunscreen and if you need insurance insurewith are really good.
I too ate like a horse when I had my treatment but now back to normal(?) and eating healthily and got back to my pre diagnosis weight. Have a fabulous holiday and recharge those batteries ready for life. Big congratulationary hugs β€οΈXx Jane
Fantastic Luchie. I remember you posting about your lovely sons . So happy for you that you can start planning another holiday. I think that like me you did not have surgery so it is so great that chemo on its own foes the job. Long may you stay NED. Take care
Fantastic news Luchie, it couldn't be better. All those little aches and pains due to chemo will seem like nothing now. Enjoy your holidays, I certainly do. Zena x
