The time has finally come. Organised last year just before all my medical stuff kicked off, my hubby & I booked up a trip to NZ for the Lions rugby Tour! It's been on my hubby's bucket list for about 25 years now & neither of us have been to NZ so killing two very big birds with one gigantic stone and our day of departure is fast approaching (Tues 30th May)
If any of you follow rugby, keep an eye out for us...we'll be in the stands waving this banner! π I will be thinking of you all and although I won't be able to contribute much on here whilst I'm away, I will pray you all have a gentle, healthy number of weeks ahead and I hope the sunshine sticks around a bit for you all. There's nothing quite like a UK summer...which I'm abandoning for the NZ winter! π
Much love, Jemima xxx

I know so very little about rugby, other than that the players get very muddy, so I've just looked up the Lions. They seem to be from all the nations that make up the British Isles which must be a good thing as maybe we might win. Anyway it must be the right team as Wikipedia says they are going to NZ. So if I hear anything about the Lions on the news, I will look for your banner.
Have a fabulous time, my hubby watches rugby so I'll keep an eye out for you in the crowds π. Keep well while you're on holiday, have safe journeys and most importantly have an absolute ball β€οΈXx Jane
Love rugby!! Will keep my eye open for you, makes my week in Majorca look a little bit tame, but I have babies to keep an eye on,at least the week is adults only !!
You just have a fab time, why do you keep going to colder climes when we are just hotting up?β€οΈπβοΈXx
Thank you sweetie - hope you get to catch some on the tv. Will be thinking of you and hope you have a restful and quiet few weeks on the health front xx
My young man and I are hoping to be able to get to Japan for the Rugby World Cup in 2019. Like you two the plan is to combine our trip with a visit to New Zealand - our daughter spent some time there a few years ago and we didn't get around to visiting her. Have a brilliant trip, look forward to hearing all about it.
Amazing Ali...Japan will be fantastic!! I've heard lots of wonderful things about NZ so I'm glad we're combining our first visit with our first Lions Tour. I believe the Lions are back in South Africa in 4 years and I reckon we'll def be going to that as SA is our second home! ππ»π¦π x
I went to NZ with my sister in 2012 and we had a wonderful time, so knowing your liking for adventure, I am sure you will too! Hope you are there long enough to fit in lots of exciting things.
