CA125 gone up again! 3rd time now, 119, 129, 129, 139. Since 14th march.

This is POST 1st line chemo, debulking ( with NED ) and one chemo to go.........

Oncologist previously said we aren't looking at the number, we are looking at the trend.

The Trend isn't good!

This bloody chemo better be doing its thing!!!

Any one with similarities? Xxx

Maybe you might have an infection of sorts, perhaps a post treatment ct scan will clarify all this for you

I hope so. All infection markers are fine currently.

Though my wound is still open. Could be that!?

Focusing on my mindfulness :) xx

If your wound is open then you could well have infection, I hope this is being dressed for you regularly. If it is oozing yes you have infection and also check if area is red. I would start asking questions if they are not attending to this

It may well be linked to your wound, we all know that CA125 is affected by many things but we all tend to forget that when ours goes up - it's human nature.

Definitely get your wound and wound care checked out.

Take care
