Eyebrows coming out again

Hi Ladies it's now 6 months since I finished chem. I'm on Bevazubamab and I'm noticing my eyebrows and lashes are coming out again. Anybody else had this happen. I lossed then twice while on chemo, I'm thinking the Bevazubamab may have something to do with it.

I have been off chemo for 1 year and my eyebrows and eyebrows are sparse. But what worries me is that my hair, which came in lovely and curly and thick, is once again thinning in areas. I have to wear a cap again when I go out. I will discuss it when I see my doc next in April.

Dear Annr5h

Some people do experience eyebrows and lashes continuing to fall out for a while after chemotherapy. One suggested reason for this is because they all fell out at the same time with the chemotherapy, so the hairs are on the same growth/shedding cycle, but eventually they can settle into differing cycles which means the hairs fall out at different times, as they would have before chemotherapy.

Generally, hair loss is not a side effect associated with bevacizumab. You may find it helpful to discuss your concerns with your oncologist as they will be able to assess you fully and discuss your treatment.

Look Good Feel Better have video tutorials on their website for creating fuller eyebrows with make up, at the following link:

I hope this is helpful, please do get in touch if there's anything we can do.

Best wishes

Not had Avastin, but in my experience these were the last to go and indeed after chemo finished. Wied... but they do grow back pretty quickly
