Has anyone diagnosed with stage 1C2 had a recurrence after chemo?

Hi there Corribrae you are still worried about recurrence. In fact we all worry about it but maybe it is best you find a Macmillan Centre or Penny Brohn Centre to sit and speak with a counsellor. I think we shouldnt waste our precious time worrying because we need to get out there and live. Yes its always on our minds and it is best to speak it out with someone outside your family circle.

Hi, you'll always find ladies who have recurred at any stage but you'll find those who have NOT recurred too.

The thing is that each of us women are different and you shouldn't try to compare your type, stage and grade with someone else even if it's the same - as your physical make-up will make a difference; your journey will not be theirs.

So as Susuki said as you're still worried it may be worth looking to speak with someone.

You need to find your new 'Normal'.

Worrying brings stress which in itself can have an impact on our health and you need to try and be as healthy as you can.

Hi, I'm sure there are ladies who have had recurrence, however, I'm sure there are ladies who haven't had recurrence too. I am assuming you've finished chemo? If so were you NED?

As the other ladies have said you can't compare what has been the outcome for others to your own case.

Please try to overcome your fears of recurrence it may never happen.

I think Suzuki and Choski have given you really good advice in perhaps getting some help to speak to somebody.

Please don't let these thoughts rule your days. Please don't torture yourself unnecessarily.

I have had last chemo 3 weeks ago and have a CT scan last week.Get my results on 8th March

Which type of cell do you have corribrae?

Also, what was the grade?

I was advised by my oncologist that recurrence can happen but also rare . However it depends on grade and cancer cell as some are more aggressive than others.

Try not to worry. I know that its harder said than done. I worry too. And i am a 1C2 who chose not to have a hysterectomy and likely not to have chemo. We are all different.
