Eyebrow tint

This may sound vain in the grand scheme of our lives but has anyone tinted their eyebrows whilst having chemo .

I'm lucky to be just having carboplatin so my hair hasn't fallen out . I was just wondering if any ladies having the same treatment as myself had tinted their eyebrows ?

I usually have mine tinted but when I had treatment ( just carboplatin) I just left them. My hair like you didn't fall out it went a lot thinner and as I couldn't colour my hair I left my eyebrows as they would have looked silly dark and my hair light!! I was told not to colour my hair so I assumed it meant eyebrows too! Hope someone can be more helpful xx

Not my eyebrows but have coloured my own hair twice whilst on carboplatin, seems ok! x

Really I need my hair dying . It's not to bad at the minute but just needs a freshen up . Did you use a semi or permanent one . I've got a box colour sitting on my dressing table taunting me 😂😂😂 I've read loads and it says not to but is that for people who have lost their hair and it's growing back ?

My hair is still the same as before chemo but I've only had one dose next one on Tuesday .

I'm very tempted 😉

I had my eyebrows tinted while on carboplatin. No problems at all. If your worried have a patch test done first.

I wasn't told I couldn't, done it twice using my usual permanent and its the same as always! x

I went the whole way and had tattoos. It's semi-permanent make up and can last up to two years. It was expensive but made such a difference to my well being.

I've never been told that I couldn't colour my hair whilst I'm on treatment (currently on Carboplatin), so I've coloured mine as I couldn't bear the badger look. Not had any problems with it, but if you are at all concerned, you could check it out with your team. Good luck with whatever you decide. Ali x

My hair just looks a bit dull and on the ends it's lighter because I had really blonde hair a couple of months ago and then went back to brunette so it looks a bit faded .

I so want to do it .

I might nip next door and ask my neighbour because she is a hairdresser . Xx

Did you use a semi permanent ?

My hairdresser has advised a dye that lasts 6-8 washes but isn't that a wash in wash out ?

The one I used was a permanent one that covers 100% of grey hairs. I think if I'm going to do it, let's go the whole hog!! X

I've done it and dyed my hair tonight 😁 Tomorrow I'm going for an eyebrow wax & tint . I'm going away for my birthday this weekend before I get zapped again on Tuesday I feel wonderful . I've drank 4 litres of fluid everyday this week so I can have a few glasses of wine at the hotel ... bring the celebrations 🎉 on x

I've done the eyebrow tinting. It's good but I did it when I almost lost all my eyebrows and it didn't help too much. The lady said that it really doesn't work in the places where there is no hair. So that didn't help me lol.
