Hospital

Day 9 post first round of Taxil / Carbo feeling quite well, I have the hospital today to check my kidneys are filtering correctly. can anyone tell me what this normally consists of?.

I just had a blood test for that. Hope it goes ok.

Hope all was ok...they do lots of tests on everything because they are essentially poisoning your entire system to get rid of the cancer cells. My oncologist actually calls himself ' the poisoner' it's supposed to be a joke but I didn't laugh much!

I think the kidney test one is when they inject some dye and about 2 hours later take another blood sample, but it is several months since I had mine so I might be confusing it with another test! Hope it goes well and sorry not to be more helpful.
