I've spent most of Jan in hospital. It seems my kidneys aren't In too great shape and to top that all I have an impacted Colon and constant nausea. Any ladies with experience of this out there. On the bright side the longest darkest month has passed with me having any time to think about it!!!

Hi TrishLey

I was admitted to hospital early Jan needing a kidney stent and raging kidney infection caused by progression of disease . Had to have iv antibiotics. Hope your feeling more comfortable now

So sorry you've had most of January in hospital. It's great you can still see the things that are bright in life. What a good attitude. Do hope things improve for you as the weather gets brighter.

Good luck, Solange xx :-)

Very sorry to hear you are so unwell. I hope they resolve your issues quickly. I was in hospital Nov/Dec with bowel obstructions and ends up having an ileostomy. If it looks like you might require surgery and you have any questions - please don't hesitate to PM me. Sara

So sorry to hear you have been unwell but you were away from all the wet and damp weather as you said. I hope they will be able to resolve the impaction for you. Drinking water helps both the kidneys and bowels but if you have kidney issues you may not be allowed a lot of water. I hope you find a solution best wishes

Thanks everyone. They've sorted the pain meds and I think the kidneys are getting better they really are trying to avoid surgery with the kidneys for some reason. They mentioned stents but did nothing just pumping me full of fluids for the time being, the bowel obstruction is moving somewhat, slowly but moving all the same. All seeming somewhat more positive than this time last night :)
