There are a few people on here with low grade so you can search for other comments. I had low grade 3c in July 2012. I refused chemo partly because it targets fast growing cells which is not low grade. I have a very healthy diet with no dairy or sugar plus supplements. I have just had my 6 monthly checkup and I am still fine with CA125 of 6.

Thank you Mary, I'm so happy for you .

I really hope that chemo will work for me . First doctor said no chemo but after the surgery he said that I need to do 6 rounds . I have 2 more to go and my CA-125is 13 doctor said is good . I also I'm grade 3 .. You said no sugar or dairy I don't use sugar here and there some dark chocolate.. Please tell me what supplements you use . I'm only taking B12 and vitamin D .. Thank you for the reply ☺️

I am sure mine was caused by dairy particularly yoghurt. I take mushroom extracts, curcumin, vit d3 2000iu, fish oils, vit e 400. I also have a very green smoothly a day inc wheatgrass, spirulina, turmeric, fresh ginger and lemon. I sprout organic mung beans, broccoli and alfalfa seeds and add them raw to smoothies and salads. I also eat dark chocolate as my treat and make sugar free flapjacks and banana loaves.

Also forgot to mention that probiotics are very important particularly if you have had chemo because it will kill any good stuff in your body and you will need to repopulate your gut for a long time. If you can afford it, I recommend vibrant health green vibrancy powder which you can get from Amazon as it has most of the ingredients you need in it. it needs to be kept in the freezer to protect the ingredients and particularly the probiotics. It can be added to a smoothie.

Mary I do all of those same things and I have advanced stage 4 ovarian and I have never gone into remission I am still alive and feel fine believe it or not. I do agree with you about all the greens Etc. My doctors are mystified but then again they don't care about diet. In the beginning they didn't want me to take the greens and everything and I did it anyway and I'm doing so well in spite of it all they said then go ahead! When I say I'm doing well I should say I am feeling well. I have cancer all over the place I'm living with it and not feeling it. They gave me 6 months to live and it will soon be three years

I'm 61 however I do look a lot younger thanks partly to the good diet I have! I think that you will get through this and continue to be very healthy if you adopt a healthy lifestyle. Have a look at the canceractive website and perhaps even buy one of Chris Woollams books on how to survive cancer or the rainbow diet.

Mary I will soon be 61 I look very young as well people think I'm in my forties. It's that great diet no doubt in my mind. My mother has a terrible diet and she looks 100 years old LOL

I have stage 3 mostly serous borderline with some few low grade serous mixed in. Had optimal debulking surgery in Oct 2015. Chemo was planned but then switched hospitals/consultants and currently I'm on 'watchful waiting' (regular scans/blood tests) , but no chemo for now. CA125 is somewhat above the normal range (was very high pre-op) but trending downwards.

Good luck with the rest of the chemo. Hope yours is a typical low grade 'lazy' cancer and stays away for a long time.

Maus123 ...Yes mine is low grade but still I'm scared .. Chemo is really bad side effects are auful and I still have 2 more to go .. And not sure if is helping

I'm just confused on what to eat what supplements to take . One of my doctored saying don't take anything no vitamins etc and the other one saying to take some .. I'm eating healthy and no meet just fish and chicken but still is hard ..

I wish u the best of luck and let's keep in Tauch ... ☺️

PS be choosy about the fish. Only fish with low levels of Mercury. Mercury is really a bad thing for cancer
