Thinning hair

A quick question, I've had my first Caelyx and was told by my onc that I wouldn't loose my hair but it would go thin, which it has done, will it get thinner with every one I have? I am to have 10 rounds of Caelyx.

I've had carboplatin and caelyx. My hair's thinned and lost its curl but at least it's still there! Best of luck, Joan xxx

I have had 3 carbo/caelyx still able to colour my roots! And use my straighteners !! I tie it up during the week and let my hair down for the weekend, it only tends to come out a bit when it has been washed ,hope that helps Yvonne.

Vonny1960 you reminded me about hair colouring.....against advice (bad girl!) I've used a colour on my hair whilst on carbo and caelyx without any adverse effect. I don't tend to use shampoo very often, and will rinse instead. I think that helps with the colour and condition too. Anything that boosts morale is good!

Hi Joan yes I have always been a bit of a rebel! I go with it and hope for the best! If it makes me feel better without the roots showing, like you say why not if it boosts morale. Best wishes Yvonne xx
