A little strange but I got to ask...........

For those of you that have had babies, I feel like a baby in moving in womb... or as my husband is insisting is it gas???

I was diagnosed with OC due to a build up of fluid in abdomen, which lead them to do a ct scan which revealed a mass on my left ovary and my CA125 was 900. I have just had my 4th cycle of chemo and sometimes I can feel little twitches and a tingly sensation in my lower abdomen other then that and the fatigue after chemo I feel pretty damn good.

I know I'm crazily sensitive at the moment and analyse any and every twitch, pain, pin I feel in my body at the moment.

Can anyone relate?????

Hi just thought you might like to know that I got fluttering in the 3 days following my chemo sessions. They were like little electrical pulses. I used to call them fireflies as they reminded me of the small flashes of light emitted by bugs, that I saw at night time when I was on holiday in Indiana some years ago. I find that visualisation helps to cope with some experiences in a positive way. The pulses decreased in number as my chemo sessions progressed. At the time of my operation the chemo had done it's job really well. I too still have some seeding on my small intestine, less than 5 mm, so hoping that the chemo will kick them into touch.

It is amazing how we all have so many things in common, yet all have unique experiences, and combinations of symptoms. Wishing you well. Lx

Hi

My mum still to this day mentioned about strange twinges in her tummy. After chemo she used to have pain in her tummy and she told herself it was the chemo attacking the cancer, although now she is off chemo and on Avastin she gets similar feelings in her tummy.

I guess it takes a while for your body to adjust to all the change so there are constant odd feelings, although don't think it is uncommon.

Glad you are feeling well. :)

Oh I can relate! I have been cancer free since April and every little twinge in any part of my body I am worried about, but put my mind to rest by reasoning that if I worry when there is nothing wrong I am wishing my life away!

I recon if you feel pretty damn good seize the moment and live !

Wishing you all the best xxx

I have this same feeling. My CA 125 is 11 and I am feeling fine but I feel discomfort and movement in my abdomen. Feels like a baby moving around. I assume it's just air or gas but it's weird.

Yes I feel the same too sometimes. Been NED since April and feel quite ok, obviously some days I'm off it but it's so hard not to feel like there's something wrong, even when there isnt. I've been told it's my bowels settling down after debulking. Plus do get gas!!!

Think apprehension is because the damn disease creeps up without warning, apart from my weight loss, no symptoms until suddenly looked 6 months pregnant!!

Oh the joys of chemotherapy

Love to all xx

thank you ladies I can put my mind to rest a little :)
