Hi everyone.

I decided to join after reading some interesting posts that i relate too.

Ive had breast cancer twice in 3 years, first diagnosed may 2012 then again nov 2014.

Like many of you my life has totally changed from having had cancer.

Im in constant pain in my joints, i finished treatments in may, and have suffered daily since TAC chemo finished in april. Ive read that many of you are living the same way ,with constant pain.

Really hope there is light at the end of the tunnel for all of us....

HI Julie, so sorry to hear you are in pain after treatment finished. I have had first session of chemo for Ovarian cancer and had severe bone pain as a side effect of Taxol/caroplatin and also from Neulasta injection I have to have after every chemo session. I will have second chemo this Thursday. I was given some strong pain killers that helped .............are you taking anything to help with pain?

Hi Julie, welcome to our forum. My chemo for ovarian cancer, carbo/taxol, finished in December 13. I had severe pain in my bones/muscles with each chemo, very debilitating. Unfortunately I have been left with this pain. I did try to do without taking pain relief for quite a while once chemo had finished then went with the odd tabletcwhen it was really bad. Now, I have been taking Ibuprofen 400mg twice daily. I also take 20mg Omeprazole daily to protect my stomach. I must say, I can get through most days now with very little discomfort, but if I go for a walk I would have some.

You don't realize all the side effects associated with chemo until you or a loved one is having to go through it. Bad enough we get the cancer without this on top.

Anyway, hope things improve for you.

Hi Julie , so sorry to hear what's happened to you. Try Reiki healing to help with your pain, or any type of hands on healing like this there are churches and sanctuary s that only ask for a donation that do this type of healing. Wishing you well,

Aemi x
