Got results of scan and great news, after 3 sessions chemo its responded well so surgery in two weeks. Really didnt expect it so soon. Now feeling much more positive. Half the battle won. Xx

What wonderful news SamJane. I'm so glad to hear you're responding well to the treatment. It's the biggest hurdle and what a relief when you are told it's working. Make sure you prepare well for surgery so you can have complete rest once you get home. No housework or lifting for six weeks. It's time for you to be waited on hand and foot. xxx Annie

Great news Samjane, it's nice when things go according to plan. All the very best with your surgery and may all your progress be smooth. I have found waist bands very uncomfortable after the mid-line incision from surgery and also had a swollen belly beyond my normal size, so I hit on the idea of buying a couple of very flowing, inexpensive maternity dresses which look great and are incredibly comfortable. (The retail therapy didn't hurt either!). Hope yours will be straightforward and very best of luck.
