I have had some blood tests done by my GP and I collected a have a printout of the results today to take to the hospital. CA125 is not mentioned as such does anyone know what other blood results are related to the possible return of oc. I did not see anyone when collecting these results.
Thanks

Funnily enough before I got a chance to ring GP the health centre rang and said the tests needed repeating. I mention there was no note of CA125 and it appeared I had not been given the full printout. cA125 was 6 which is brilliant since it was 11000 when I started treatment and down to 14.9 after 3 lots of chemo and surgery. I have a vitamin B12 problem for which I have 3 month injections and this is the reason for repeating tests nothing too alarming.
The usual tests GPs carry out are a full blood picture. They might have done ESR and CRP too. None of these include CA125. Take them with you to hospital but I imagine they will do the CA125; for you. Good luck. Ann
Thank you I had not been given a full printout and my CA125 was down to 6 from 11000 when I started treatment last year. Oncologist was happy with bloods and I was given another appointment for 3 months time. Off on holiday feeling less worried.
