Hi,am just under a week away from hysterectomy followed by chemo four weeks after. Apart from feeling pregnant with the growth on my ovary, am now getting pins and needles in my hands, feet and lips. Has anyone else experienced this?is it a cancer sympton I wonder

Pins and needles?
Hi there.. I get tingling in my legs, arms, feet, hands, and lips. Also, I have ringing in my ears. I've been told it can be pressure though I don't know what that means. It was worse before chemo (as distinct from peripheral neuropathy induced by chemo) and improved after the first few sessions of chemo. I have progression now and it's back. I don't know what is causing yours because 'pressure' isn't the only cause. Why not mention it to your GP or call the Ovacome nurse led Helpline on 020 7299 6650 or 0808 800 6650. They're very helpful and friendly and may be able to give you some more help. Love T xx
It depends on your chemo and if on paclitaxel it is likely to be that, I also got lots of cramp pre diagnosis and still get pins and needles in my hands at times. Discuss with your medical team as if it is chemo they can adjust your dose as they did with mine which improved things. Hugs Amanda
Don't think you've had chemo yet - doh to me xxxx
