Hello Ladies, Apologies for not having been on the site for a while to update but went back to work on 1st July and time just flies. Well had my urgent colorectal consultation after 2 months of waiting and it was decided i had to have the colonoscopy within 2 weeks, my reply was whats the hurry you have made me wait. Anyway had it done and there were some suspicious areas from which they took 10 biopsies and hinted that it may be a malignancy!!! had to wait beginning of august for MDM and then i got called in the day after to see the colorectal CNS mary who is lovely, she was appalled at the wait i have had. She the told me that they have discovered i have Crohns disease but that they would like me to have further tests, OGD and MRI on my bowel. Unfortunately the histologist at the MDM was not made aware of the ovarian histology so has had to go back and now compare all 3 sets of biopsies and make a decision, also my consultant failed to discuss the CT chest abdomen and pelvis he ordered and the fact that my urologist has found the prolapsed bowel!!! Well the MDM should of been yesterday so am waiting for a phone call to ask me to come in and get the final results, will update when i know. And as if this has not been enough this year, my 20 year old daughter went for her yearly check couple of weeks ago (she had cancer at 13) and a lesion that she had behind her bowel , which has been dormant for 6 years has decided to grow and develope a vascular supply so we have to go to london on 27th (tuesday) for her results, So its all good in our house lol xx vanessa

Dear Vanessa,
I am so sorry to read your post, your head must be in a spin
at the moment. I hope you get some good news when you
finally have your appointment with the doctors.
As for your daughter, well what can I say only to go through
cancer at such a young age must be really frightening for
her but hope the results won't lead to surgery, and hopefully it
will be treatable with chemo.
Sending you both my best wishes
Love Angie xx
Flipping heck, that is a lot to deal with, poor you! How ridiculous as a process of to-ing and fro-ing...

Hi there... what a year of messing and faffing about and to cap it all, your daughter now has to have investigations. Just to let you know that I'm thinking of you and hoping that the suspicious areas you have turn out to be not as suspicious as they look. Love Tina x x
thanks tina, fingers crossed, i think our family have just about had it this year lol xx
Dear Vanessa
I am so sorry that you have had this difficulty with your care , it is so hard but you just have to keep chasing things up. I know
that the health service is under lots of pressure and that the staff work incredibly hard , but this is not good.
Sending you my very best wishes xxx
Dear Vanessa,

So sorry to read about the rotten time you're having. What a lot of messing about you've had. Do hope things , both for you and your Daughter, don't turn out to be as bad as you fear.
Thinking of you both, love Solange
