Thank you for the link love x G x
Isadora, thank you. I have already been sent this as I expressed an interest and will do it when I return from my first holiday after treatment. Its going to be strange - a week without my iPad! Dy
NICE were very grateful for the feedback they received from you all, (As were we) however in more that 50 responses, none were from women who had received Supra radical surgery themselves( which are the target group that they want to hear from)
If your surgeon discussed more extensive surgery or radical surgery with you as an option, please do get in touch as NICE really want to hear from you to understand what your thoughts and experiences were.
For everyone's information we are conducting a survey in collaboration with the British Gynae Cancer Society, which examines surgeons beliefs and possible barriers to Supra radical surgery. We will report this as soon as we can analyse the results.

I've recently had more extensive surgery following 2nd recurrence. Was given the option of surgery or chemo and decided to go for surgery. Unfortunately it was not a great success as I now have more tumours (in and around the specific areas where I had the surgery!). Is this the kind of information that they are looking for? Happy to oblige if required.

Has anyone had anything significant to contribute in the feedback? I've read the guidance document and the consultation document but really have nothing to add even though I've asked my oncologist for a referral to a larger centre with the intention of discussing this surgery as part of the treatment for my first relapse.
