Most likely ovarian cancer & need to see a gynocologist/oncologist. They did a blood test & said it will confirm if it is cancer. Referred me to Moffitt but they will not see me until I get a referral from my primary doctor. Humana insurance does not take effect until June 1st. Should I wait?
Also, the last year I have had swellingl in my right foot, right leg and right side under my ribs. Is this a symptom of ovarian cancer?

I would recommend you look at ovacome.org.uk There is lots of info on there. It may help to clear up the whole issue. There's a helpline (9-5 Mon to Fri) and email address on the website, you you can get expert advice. A blood test is often a reliable way of indicating OC, but not always. Only an operation can really do that, after scans and other tests. All the is on the Ovacome website though, including a BEAT symptom tracker, which may help to clarify things.
All the best

That's good advice from Wendy. Are you in the US? Even though quite a lot of people here in the UK do have private health insurance it's more usual for people to rely on our National Health Service for treatment for serious conditions so I can't really comment on your insurance problem. I hope things work out for you.
I am so sorry that this has figured to you....but please do bear in mind that only an operation and a detailed analysis of what has been removed can confirm this.
I had all o the signs of a very advanced cancer , it turned out to be a borderline I.e.non invasive tumour.
Regarding insurance , it would be rare for a delay of a few days to significantly affect the outcome.
Take care and good luck

I can't see how you were told this cancer from a blood test. It''s not good to put you in this position. A blood test is an indication of mant diseases. Take good care. X x
I tried to reply earlier but it kept coming up with an error, welcome to our club that no one wants to join, I am sorry I am not much help as I see you are not living in the UK so don't know much about insurance but I wouldn't think it would make much difference to your outcome as you haven't long to wait... Best wishes love x G x
