Hi ladeez I’m hoping u are as well as possible and you are enjoying summer.

I’m wanting advice again plz.

Went to see my onc today but he’s off sick therefore saw his colleague ,

She told me that they are not concerned at present but there are a couple of mm spots present. But not enough to change my treatment as letrozole is working really well.

I told her I was confused that I was told I was in remission 3 months ago. She said this was present 3 months ago but we are watching it’s stable disease ?

I feel very lost asked for another opinion but everyone busy.

I really don’t know what to think as they said it’s not a recurrence and even after a successful op there will always be cells naked to the eye?

What would you think and how would you look at it ?? Xx

Hi, I think it good news that it's stable and it's common that they are not too concerned about mm spot they are watching them and as she said the letrozole is working take that as positive news.

Yes even arfter surgery cell can be that small to the naked eye that is why most of the time you will have chemo arfter surgery.

Your team seems to be watching your progress for now, so at your next visit ask again to have it explained to you, for now I would look at it in a positive light..Take care Lorraine and let us know how you go..Lorraine xx💙💙

I agree with Lorraine darling. Please don't panic or get upset. It will be dealt with by your excellent team. Look how far you have come this year. Think positive. Love and hugs xxxxxx

I was told that NED means no change/no active or new disease. I had thought it meant it was all gone. It seems the Cancer dictionary as opposed to the English Oxford are different. During surgery they can only remove what they can see so I guess it makes sense

If your tumours remain unchanged in size and behaviour some oncologists consider you to be in remission. They tend to use a three month rule, or at least they do at my hospital.

I hope that helps a little
