RTE Doc on One 'Kicking the Bucket' by Sinéad Dinneen and Katie Verling

Hi all , I hope I find each and everyone well or at least as well as you can be.

I have some creative news from Limerick , Ireland.

My self and my Friend Katie Verling ( who also has cancer ) have a RTE Doc on One titled 'Kicking the Bucket' ready to hear /podcast /download now - its about our cancer journeys - and what we did to help ourselves and our Limerick community discuss illness, loss grief and dying . We got creative and used art as the method to enable difficult discussions. Its an emotional journey as you know so have the tissues ready but there is a lot of joy as well . If your feeling vulnerable perhaps listen to it at another time ?

If you listen to it, could ask you to rate it on the RTE Doc on One website also when your finished and please send it to you family ,friends, communities etc and ask them to rate it as well please .

thanks you and enjoy !!

kindest regards

Thanks a million for the link. I Just listened to the documentary, Sinead. So very interesting. Those workshops sound great, focused on death but fun too! They reminded me of the sewing workshop you did for us at a patients' day. It got us all chatting as we worked on our pieces and examined others' work in the exhibition. It sounds like you got a lot out of it too. Well done to you & Katie. M

Hi M, thanks for listening and for the kind comments. Yes making something like art can often free us up to talk more openly. I got ton out of it and am very happy that RTE choose us to work with.

id love to get OvaCare making art again !! thanks again and hope your well
