Hi all, anyone any info? I've been on Avastin since sept2013 however due to protein in my urine l am unable to have treatment. My urine will be monitored every three weeks. Just wondering what happens next? Tks all 😉

HI 1924, I am sorry I cant really give you an answer to this. I know mine was stopped after 18 sessions a year ago to prevent this happening. It seems it does happen but it may not affect your overall outcome/ I am doing fine a year later, I would imagine they would hope for the protein to stop rising and they will monitor it over a period of time. I suppose you are worried but hopefully the kidneys will correct themselves in time.

No he said he would keep it for future reference so have been stable after 18 treatments of it for about a year.
