Avastin side effects.

Hello all

I have 7 sessions of carbo/taxol and Avastin was introduced from 5th chemo, I have had 1 infusion of Avastin now (1 year has been scheduled) and will have this every three weeks. I've had total hysterectomy in Sept. 2015.

I'm having stomach cramps since last Avastin infusion - has any one experienced this? Could this be a side effect of Avastin?

Thanks!

Juliet

I had miminal side effects but I did find that instead of the usual constipation, I veered in the opposite direction. This would be for no particular reason and would come out of the blue. Twice it occured when drinking the ct scan drink and also on other occasions but I discovered that by cutting down fibre it sorted itself again. It was really very occasional. Apart from that, I had usual sinus issues and perhaps a loss of appetite now and again. Hope that helps
