I just had a bone density done..my 4th actually. 3 years ago I had osteopenia. I walk often and try to eat healthy but could lose 30lbs. I had reading of 1.8 and others of -2.6 (spine) I’d like to hear about exercises ..supplements from others as I do not want to take meds to help correct this. How concerned should I be?

osteoporosis
There is a tool FRAX -- predicts osteoporetic bone breaks -- iscd.org/learn/resources/fr....
I had a bone density done recently and with no medication but increased exercise regime, taking plant calcium, vit D and K2 I had actually improved from -2.6 hip to -2.3 and lumbar spine -1.7 to -0.9 GP did a Frax assessment and I came out for the %ten year fracture risk at 24% for major osteoporotic fracture and 17% for a hip fracture. Being 77 yrs old medication has once again been recommended. I had 1 prolia shot 5 years ago but stopped due to side effects. It’s now suggested I try Ridedronate. Been given reading material but unsure if the Frax assessment is telling me I should take medication?
Why ever does your GP want you to take medication when you don't even have osteoporosis. That's normal bone density in your spine and osteopenia in your hip, amazing scores for your age! I bet your z-scores are normal for age!
