I am 71 and am very petite at 109 lbs. and dr. Wants me to start reclasat. Its an infusion done in hospital setting. Once a year. My worry is i am so sensitive to medication. Looking to see if anyone on here has had luck with another type of medication. Tried fosomax years ago but had trouble swallowing so i stopped also did not like what i read online. I think i have osteoporosis because i had been taking too much calcium!!

I am very petite at 85 lbs. I read in this group that petite stature could skew results. I went to the American Bone Health Organization and did a calculator to determine risk. My risk is considerably less than what I was told. I certainly plan to share that with my endocrinologist and interested on his response. Good luck!
