buprenorphine, pregablin, opiates
So, before having the conversation with my doctor (which I'm already worried about), I wanted to ask if anybody had switched from bup/pregablin to low dose
opiates
and how they did that.

Total symptoms control with Gabapentin?
So I keep reading about people who got complete remission of RLS symptoms with
opiates
but the ones that are on gabapentin or pregabalin don't seem to be so lucky. There always seems to be some RLS left... Are there people here who completely got rid of RLS symptoms while on gabbas?

I have been married to a man who has been using
opiates
following a back injury and more recently, benzodiazepines for the past 7 years. The mood swings are so intense and erratic. I keep busy and try and stay away, and he won’t get therapy.

Feeling totally lost.
there’s not much more she can do, even after a recent MRI showed more endo, she said I could try Zoladex (which I don’t really want to try yet, as I’m hoping to start trying for a baby early next year) and she’s not keen on repeating a surgery, she also won’t give me any stronger pain relief such as

Pregabalin
When Pregabalin was used with
opiates
the frequency of deaths rose sharply This is obviously most upsetting with people like me who have used Pregabalin for years . I have often told my GP of my concerns re: addiction but it fell on deaf ears!!

Opinions on THC and CBD gummies for cancer pain.
Do you use it instead of
opiates
or as an add on? Any side effects to be aware of? Thanks in advance!

pramiprexole Withdrawal
Of course my RLS is going crazy but using
opiates
to help. Can tapering off these tablets really make you feel this bad? I’d really welcome anybody else’s experiences. Many thanks 🙏

absolutely disgusted.
The Partners reason for refusing the medication was, it’s addictive, little evidence that it works and anyway they don’t prescribe
opiates
.

Update on safe pain relief
Tramadol and other
Opiates
should be avoided if possible as they can cause or worsen Encephalopathy. Combinations such as Co Codamol are best avoided. It was also decided to put me back on the List.

I think it probably works by causing release of endogenous
opiates
, a natural response to pain. I suspect this is the underlying mechanism of action of several of the non-medical methods listed here (ice cold, hot baths, hitting the legs etc).

RLS and tachycardia and other symptoms
For me it’s subtle but still affects my ability to fall asleep, and
opiates
help calm it down to my normal resting pulse. I get the pulse of an active person when I’m lying still in my bed.

Stabilising buprenorphine dose
-the nausea that I had experienced previously with
opiates
got worse. So because of the above problems with patches I persuaded a reluctant GP to prescribe tablets and the calculation said 2x 200mcg before bedtime daily.

Constipation post C-section - how much prune juice?!
Likely a combo of
opiates
during surgery, inactivity etc. Anyway, was prescribed lactulose in hospital and to take at home (home for 24h now) but no dice. Today I added in (what I consider to be infallible) prune juice. Still nothing so far. My question is how much prune juice do I dare??

Iron Infusion
I didn't want to put him offside by arguing too much because he seemed to be really wanting to help and had indicated that he was willing to prescribe
opiates
if he thought it was appropriate. I, of course, choose to worry about internal bleeding or something worse. (Esophageal cancer?

Longest bout of RLS 13 days of no sleep
They refuse to prescribe
opiates
not even short term. I am at my wits end. I seriously feel like I’m losing my mind! I suffer from mental health issues already and take medications for it.
