I gave up with the wedge pillow too, too hard even with a pillow on it, gave me shoulder problems. I have searched the internet, and all the pictures have happy people lying on their backs. I have bought some risers to put under the top legs of the bed. I sleep on my own so doesn't affect anyone else. I am still waiting to have two stong people in the house at the same time to lift the top of my heavy wooden bed and fit the risers under. At least the mattress would be the same if sloping.

Best of luck with that yes all happy pics I see too. Same with many products that cure acid reflux
