Have oesophagitis gastritis induced by bile ...no gallbladder..h hernia. Horrendous burning pain in back 6 years now. Odd days fine. Def no fats.

But now its soo bad every day. Burns for hours all up my back down all inflamed inside back body...rarely burp etc. I can taste what eaten hours after. Burns when I get up despite wedge pillows Gaviscon.

Waiting another manometary bravo.

But it gets real tight all around chest on eating worse when bed hurts to breath. Used to go by a.m. but now always there.

My poop is light brown often just loads gas and sticks to pan. I am worried now. I am thinking it's my pancreas again but bloods january said all ok.

Anyone have same. It's awful and I'm living with broken hip op and trying get off meds which when I reduced seems worse....benzos

Sorry you're going through this, I know how miserable it can be I have gone through it often. Have you been to a gastroenterologist? You may have to go to other doctors to get it all figured out, that's what it took for me. I pray that you find some answers soon and get the relief you need. God bless, take care.

Hi thanjyou. Seen 5 GIs in 6byears. Just keep taking meds!! Told cant have fundoplication as I had dismotiky oesophagus which I never have dreamt as swallow ik...cos if had op I'd end up being unable to swallow at all and tube fed!! My fear naturally is esophageal c .I guess I'll have to wait for the manometary and bravo. One GI 3 years ago said nerve endings. Another tried sulcrafate still burning. I have asked GP for lansoprazole now today instead if esomaprazole. I often just sit and cry a lot. I try hard to watch what eat. I'm sorry you get it too. It's an awful pain .

I’ve just had manometry and 24hr pH monitoring. I’m currently awaiting the results. Whether it’ll show anything is another matter. It was requested 8 months ago but because of covid was delayed. Of course, by the time I had it done things had calmed down a little. Had they done it not long after the stomach emptying scan I had done they might have hit the jackpot. I was given a cottage pie for that and unfortunately it was a bit heavy on the pepper front which really irritated things (given that you can’t take anything until the test has been completed - so in my case around three hours later). It took seven weeks for things to calm down after that, despite being on cimetidine and Gaviscon advance to help keep things under control.

Oh I've been waiting UK here at least 5 months for my manometary and Bravo. I had a gastric eating test 3 years ago just mash and baked beans!! Said all ok except I empty at...faster ebd of normal. 5 years ago barium swallow suggested dumping syndrome.I hope the tests you w had help sort things out
