Omeprazole 20mg

So I’ve been taking omeprazole 20mg, but when I take it, it feels like it’s stuck in my throat. I obviously take the capsule with water. I just want to know if anyone else gets this sensation? Am I doing something wrong? It’s not a big issue but the sensation makes me feel quite sick. My acid reflux makes me feel sick also so at the moment it’s like a lose/lose situation

I used to take omeprazole and they were quite big compared to other things I’d taken when I used to struggle with acid reflux a lot. Maybe try taking it with squash because my mum has the same trouble if she takes any tablet with water. Hope this helped. Stay safe 😊

I take Lansoprozle 30mg and when my reflux is at its worst I too can sometimes get that feeling that its either stuck in my throat or taking ages to go down. What I've found helps is when taking it with water, which is usually first thing in the morning before breakfast, I take a drink of water first which helps coat any dryness in the throat. I then put the tablet in my mouth but I then take a mouthful of water and swill it around WITHOUT swallowing the tablet.

This coats the tablet with water and helps it slide down much easier. Certainly works for me, maybe worth trying.
