Does anyone take these 2 together? If so, have you had any luck seeing a difference. I’ve so far tried Omeprazole on it’s on( with hit and miss success!) and now taking famotidine on its own and not seeing much difference at all. I know I need to give things time but I was wondering if a combination of the 2 would help?

For Omeprazole 20mg wasn't much help but Famotidine 40mg made some difference. Main thing is to control diet no spicy food, no fried food or cheese or red meat for a couple of weeks. You will see the difference
Thank you. Do you take famotidine one in the morning and one in the evening? I think I’ve always just been hoping to find the “magic pill” that makes it all go away! Silly I know
Hi, I take 20mg Omeprazole half an hour before lunch and 20mg Famotidine about two hours before bed and 10ml of Gaviscon Advance at bedtime as nightime symptoms are worse for me. Touch wood things are on an even keel at the moment, although I do still have to sleep propped up. Regards.
I have Barrett's Oesophagus so have to take 20mg Omeprazole daily. For years I got these from Boots but found I had breakthrough reflux symptoms and often had discomfort in the hour or so after taking them. On one occasion I was given a different brand from the one usually dispensed by Boots and found them so much better. I now use a different pharmacy and have been given a variety of brands and found them better too. For my last prescription I was given Omeprazole made by Sandoz, the manufacturer of the Boots ones under, from memory, the Accord label and these have again not been so good. My point is, maybe switching brands might help. Hope so.
