Rich food

On Esomeprazole, disaster at Christmas...all the rich food has left my evening with violent watery diarrhea...

What to do ? Got to do it all again tomorrow. 🙄

Oh bless you.. That's awful..I was on lansoprazole but came off it as the side effects were worse than taking the ppi...

If you can i wouldn't take it at all..🙄 I told my GP I was having all the side effects and she said come off it gradually.. You will get proberly side effects for coming off the ppi for a few days which is not nice.. But it's worth it than all this direahea you are getting.. And now when my IBS and acid reflux flare up like yesterday as you say because of all the rich food we eat over Christmas.. I just take Gaviscon Advance and have some warm water to sip and a warm compress on my pains and after 30 mins or so my pains subside and go.. Which is far better than having the side effects.. Of the PPI

Hi I was on lansoprazole before and after 5 weeks I was hit with terrible side effects. Didn't leave the toilet for a week.. ... came of it and started this 5 weeks ago and up to yesterday I was OK.... took two diacalm last night so I could sleep. But have taken Esomeprazole this morning as normal. Fingers crossed I'm OK as I have house full of guests coming. My poor tummy is gurgling like mad. 🙄
