Persistent cough

I have hiatus hernia for several years and tried various prazoles etc. but actually lifestyle/diet changes mean I rarely get acid reflux. I do get mucous tho. but don'tknow if that comes from there. The main problem is that I have had a cough for years which no one seems to be able to do anything about. Idon't know if it is related. All sorts of things set me off coughing.

I assume you’ve been checked for asthma and other lung conditions? And has post nasal drip been ruled out as well?

Me too. Lansoprazole has largely sorted the cough alongside eating at lunchtime, raised bed head, avoiding triggers..... I don’t like being on medication though and am trying two days a week without. I am 60.
