Just been diagnosed with acid reflux

How were you diagnosed

I was feeling constant sickness but not actually been sick so my doctor sent for a camera to be put down

I also had an endoscopy in October but they could find anything other than h pylori bacteria.

So I am interested to know how did your endoscopy diagnosed you with acid reflux disease

Not sure to be honest in think it's a combination of my symptoms and family history o get the foul taste in my mouth and throat most days I was struggling to eat and take medications and no matter what over the counter treatment I tried nothing was working they found my stomach is very red and sore but I have a history of cancer in my family both parents with bowl cancer

How long have you been struggling with reflux issues? Reflux is annoying and I feel for you. If it reflux hopefully medication like lansoprazole should help - not always though. Don’t work for me.

Gastroscope can find more issues and provide access to sampling etc. This in combination with symptoms can identify what causing acid reflux.
