Hi. My friend has oc cancer, diagnosed in may this year. (T3N2Mx) She has a NG feeding tube since end if may as she couldn’t swallow anything at all and has had 1 cycle of flot chemo which unfortunately gave her a heart attack so chemo changed to carboplatin and Paclitaxel, which she has had 2 cycles of. Consultant keeps asking if she can swallow anything now, but as yet she can’t. Has anybody else had this type of chemo and it not improved the swallowing??

Not much help I'm afraid but I wonder if the NG tube is irritatating the throat /making it inflamed and adding to swallowing problems ?
