My 10 daughter just came running into my room her throat felt like it was in fire and couldn't breathe, after few mins, almost calling #911, she finally relaxed, any ideas what this could have been?

Hello it could be a little bit of heartburn that has entered the throat, had she been running around soon after a meal, i know my daughter has had it on one occassion and ive just given her a couple of mouthfuls on gaviscon to settle it, doc said gaviscon ok. Hope this advice ok.
