Hyper responsibility

Hi,

I think I suffer from hyper responsibility. I found an article about it, apart from a few bits, it could have been written about me.

This has taken over my life/family and I can’t go out on my own. I spend most days in my room crying and am not sure I can take much more.

Am I the only one, there’s not much written about it ?

Any tips or advise welcome.

It's common in OCD! I have it too. There's quite a lot about it in the book Overcoming Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and how to deal with it. Here's a link to the first part of the book you can access online:
