I dont know but sure wish I did too 😢 good luck to you, if you would like to message me and talk about it you are more than welcome
It's hard to say which is the best, as some suit some people but not others. I have been on sertraline for more than ten years, and was on clomipramine before that.
I had my sertraline upped to 300mg daily, which is a very high dose, having been on 200 mg before. I also take 5 mg of aripiprazole, an antipsychotic, daily. I am not psychotic, but a low dose of this can boost the sertraline and make it more effective. Be careful if a doctor suggests another one called sulpiride, as I was on that for a while and put on two and a half stone, which took a great deal of effort to lose again!
Remember that we all have bad patches when the OCD is particularly horrible, and that it isn't necessarily the medication that is at fault. A booster course of CBT may also help.
Never had any medication that helped, a few made it worse though...
My son who's now 14 takes 6g inositol powder for intrusive thoughts ocd and it does seem to lessen the thoughts. There is a lot of info online and clinical research which suggests it can help. Good luck
