None neck pain

Can anyone give me any advice I had a back op back in march, which I don’t think has worked,I have been diagnosed with neck arthritis (osteoarthritis)years ago only in the last months my neck has been. Really,really bad and nothing I take is helping, thankyou for ready my post. Teapot x

HelloTeapot66. I too have osteoarthritis in my neck and am suffering terribly with it at the moment. I’ve been taking paracetamol and putting hot water bottles on my neck which helps a little. I’ve also tried the neck excercises as I’ve been suffering from dizziness and feeling sick which I think is aggravated by pressure from my neck. I’m so sorry your back pain went wrong. Nothing worse than being in pain and from my experience it’s very difficult to get a drs appointment. I don’t like taking too strong a pain killer as I find I get such awful side effects so it is difficult to manage any pain.Hot and cold treatment is supposed to help ease symptoms of neck pain and anything is worth a go. Good luck and I hope you find some relief .
