With this change in our weather I find wen I try and get out of bed in the morning I can’t hardly move. From my lower back to my neck to my knees and hands it is dreadfull. I’m trying to move around with my walking stick till all joints become more flexible with moving but it really gets to me.

Pain
My neck is very stiff in the mornings and it takes a bit of time for it to feel right, maybe a half hour or so.
Mines not that bad yet but I do try to make myself stretch everything when I get up, then as I can still move I get out and walk as much as possible plus go to yoga/pilates class twice a week which really helps PS Swimming good too
When I get up I try and stretch also. My knees I have problems with at present. But when I get mobile it improves. I take reg meds for pain which controls most of the time but when I have nerve flare ups it’s agonising. I was offered to have steroid injections but I’ve put that off as long as I can.
That's all we can do ... keep moving as much as possible and eat healthily. I can't take anti inflammatory drugs at the moment as I am on an anticoagulent (blood thinner) because of a leg thrombosis 18 months ago .. hopefully at next review in December I can come off them as clot has gone. Meanwhile just tramadol/paracetamol low dose which helps when stiff in the mornings
I also take collagen, glucosamine+chondroitin and omega 3 ... I don't know for sure if they help but for now with the low carbohydrate way of eating plus lots of walking I'm keeping it all at bay .... but not looking forward to the cold in winter (I live on the Costa del Sol and we haven't had bad weather since March ... but it is getting cooler now!)
I can’t take anti inflammatory either because of heart condition. So will just have to keep pressing on on and hope for the best.
Going by your name, hope hands are OK for playing!
PS love the puppies in your logo or whatever it's called
No not really. I can’t remember the last time I played. I own three guitars. I used to be a singer/ guitarist. The pups were SHIHTZU s last year litter from my SHIHTZU Molly!!!
Which part of the Costas are you based???
They're gorgeous ... can u not do anything with the guitars? That's very sad if true xx
I try and play sometimes but because I have osteoarthritis nodes on several fingers it makes it a little difficult to move to different guitar frets whilst playing. I can still make a tune but it just gets awkward.
