Any advice please on taking Rifinah prior starting Humira?

6 months ago I was given the go ahead to start treatment with Humira, unfortunately blood tests revealed latent TB. I have waited 3 months to see a consultant but finally I have been started on Rifinah to treat the TB, however I have had mixed opinions as to when I can start on Humira. I am in a lot of pain at the moment and would like to start ASAP. Has anyone else been in a similar situation or have any advice please?

All I know is that when I had active TB (ie not latent but actual disease) it took ages to clear, so you may be in for a bit of a wait. Sorry. Hope your docs are on the ball about helping you through the wait with extra steroids perhaps. Polly
