I have tried medication traditional for years, and nothing good happen, I have deformed my feet and I not able to use my favorites shoes anymore, so I took control of my illness and star Clint´s program and for first time I see something my blood test start to change with that program, when my ¨Rheumatologist doctor¨never to advise me or tell me how to get those result down, with out another medication $$$$$ and is when the insurance Co. start to play their game, I have been with this RA for 14 years for me, I have beeb suffer enough.
My RA and me.: I have tried medication traditional for... - NRAS
My RA and me.
can you tell us what meds you tried? and what this programme is we in uk havent heard of it|?
It's the Clint Paddison programme, another of the " I can cure you without drugs just send $49 for my booklet" websites. And it's all about eliminating toxins for your gut. Google his name if you want to, but personally I wouldn't bother!
im not seriously interested in quack stuff you know some of more alternative members and drug removing ones maybe x
Hi Summer It's Clint here, and there's no quack stuff involved in natural healing, just good old fashioned elimination diet (to avoid food sensitivities) followed by a reintroduction of foods one at a time to test for reactions. Plenty of raw salads (for enzymes and to make bowel movements more regular and reduce toxic load in the bowel), avoidance of meat/dairy and all oils (based on the overwhelming evidence that these increase RA pain in clinical trials over the years) and a ramp-up of suitable exercises to heal the joints. This is the overall approach and, as Ladydiffee has said above, it tends to work very well. Happy to assist at any time for anything on the topic of natural healing just pop me an email through on this site and happy to give you as much info as you want. Hope you're doing ok. Warmest regards, Clint
No I trust you Polly. Sounds like nothing we can't all try for free at home by eating well and exercising sensibly to me. Not interested in anything that costs either.
Hi scouser, what's with the carrot soup ? Sounds interesting ?
If this works then Why do we spend so much on research ? And lady diffee if your feet are bad and deformed go to the doctor or an orthopaedic surgeon I think. For me always check with the docs before you change treatment plans, some can be dangerous and not suitable.
This sounds like a spam advertisement to me. Maybe I'm just too much of a cynic.
Hello Guys, it´s great seeing feedback on here. I am Lady Diffee´s husband, I just wanted to take a moment to update you on the latest with her. I took her to her R.A. doctor last week, her blood test was much better, in several catagories, I was impressed that the plan for her has worked. Actually, she has taken the best of a couple of plan, with trial and error, what areas work for her. She has mainly quit eating dairy products, and meat. She nor I are crazy about stopping to eat meat, because we love meat and love to go to great restaurants as well. Since she has stopped the dairy and meats she is now able to walk again without a crutch. Yesterday was the first time since November that she was able to go with me to the grocery store, and walked around Wal-Mart with me and our 3 year old daughter for the entire time. I am so thankful. She eats a lot of salads with just freshly squeezed lemon juice as the dressing. We also follow the GOMES, remember it rhymes with COMBS, plan along with the salads, I found this on PBS. GOMBS stands for Greens, Onions, Mushrooms, Beans/Berries, Seeds, which together makes a wonderful soups. We switch out the types of Greens, maybe one day it is Kale, then the next is Spinach, etc. Switch out the other ingredients too, like regular mushrooms on day, the baby portabellas the next. The onions too, purple one day, the spanish the next. Switch out the other ingredients too, give yourselves some variety. I hope that this helps. Regards, Bobby
It is true however that Clint's plan is great though, especially the 12 days of cleansing. It was the portion % that helped the most. The foods that made her feel best after the cleansing though were black beans (contains manganese and magnesium), and brown rice. We're still working through trial and error though, so we all have a long way to go. Have a great Easter everyone. Regards, Bobby
Dear Ladydiffee
I have had a look online and my understanding of the programme that you are talking about is that it looks at making dietary changes to reduce levels of inflammation. A lot of people with rheumatoid arthritis do find benefit from making changes to their diet, as sometimes certain foods to seem to aggravate their RA. However, as Allanah has said, once joints are damaged this is unlikely to get resolved without surgery, so it is worth seeing if you can speak to an orthopaedic surgeon about your feet.
Dietary changes would not normally be enough on their own to control your RA and stop it from progressing, so it would not generally be recommended that you stop your medication, and it is worth speaking to a rheumatologist about the programme that you are following, to get their take on it.
If you would like to read more about diet and RA, you may find the following article on our website useful:

Hi Victoria, I'm doing perfectly fine without medications for 2.5 years. It's rarely seen to do fine without any drugs, that's because most people follow the guidelines similar to those set out in the link that you've posted. One of the biggest downfalls is eating dairy, since dairy is such a potent allergy-forming food and can cause molecular mimicry to occur leading to the self-attack on the joints.
It's a lot more than just dairy, but it's a great place to start for people with RA to eliminate dairy first. This is based on scientific studies of RA and patients, not what the big dairy industries want us to believe. Next is meat (again, studies show this repeatedly) and vegetable oils. When I eliminated vegetable oils I noticed a dramatic decrease in pain within days. The oils were going on my salads to make my salads more palatable. When I got rid of the oils I got rid of even more pain. The oils seem to increase leaky gut, causing more proteins to enter the bloodstream undigested and aggravating the immune system.
The ideal state to be with RA is to be on as little drugs as possible whilst eating the best way possible (not mediteranian diet at all - a low fat vegan diet is what the science shows to be the best and what I have used to maintain a CRP rate of less than 1 after 2.5 years off medications).
Keeping the CRP rate in the acceptable range is the goal, and this can be done with diet as best as possible and the 'take up the slack' with drugs as need be. That's what my rheumatologist and I did for me and it worked a treat.
I hope this helps
Clint
