Pain, Pain, Pain....Pain in the arse..: Hi people, have... - NRAS
Pain, Pain, Pain....Pain in the arse..
oh god poor u! i really hope you didnt break it, hope the specialist can give you some help today. all the best x
It sounds very painful, could it be ra. What have you done for it to be like it is,if you have falen then that makes sense,if not it could be something else altogether. Hope you get sorted soon. Sylvi. x
Sounds as if could well be inflammation in the joints between toe & foot. Hurts like hell, even when resting? And hard to put weight on your foot? If it's been coming & going for a bit and is now with you a bit more permanently then more likely to be RA than a break.
Wear the biggest softest shoes you've got with squishy insoles, try to rest as much as you can, chew those painkillers/use pain gels & hang on till Friday. Good luck, Polly
Hey Zusan,
I agree with helix assement. The change of weather triggered similar aches in both my feet.
A change of footwear has sorted it.. I got some Sketcher tone ups boots. They have a very exaggerated round sole and firm but squishy insole which keeps the feet still so completly rests the feet and are surprisingly light weight.
I havent found any with velcro fastenings but im sure they must exist ( for RA peeps with painful fingers) but I also have the flip flop version which I wear indoors as barefeet is a no no until this flare dies down.
The downside is they are UG LEEEEEE!.
Jx
Love the blog title, was half expecting it to be followed by....And then my hubby decided too ....
Mt toes have been hurting too, I assume it was because I spent two days in a wedge shoe with a bit of height over the weekend, but they are v sore and tender so probably the lovely Ra also x
I bought myself a very expensive pair of fitflop boots last time my ankles and knees were bad and I've had very little trouble with either side since. I did have to buy another pair that are more like suede clogs because I'm struggling with zips currently but I live in both and they have been life changing. And for Pete - my OH bought some for himself too so they fit both genders and to me mine are cool not ugleeeeee! TTx
