yellow foam ear plugs for him, I use them coz my hubs snores and they really help. Its probably the amitripytline making you sleep quite heavily, which is great for you.

Ask your GP to send you for a sleep study. I found that I was stopping breathing durning sleep. The treatment is to wear a mask that has air blown into it and the pressure keeps you breathing and stopps the snorring. Since I started using the CPAP machine I have had alot more energy during the day and I am able to manage my RA a lot better as a result the quailty of my life has improved.

I found the Amytriptaline (sorry cannot spell it) made by mouth and nose very dry and caused me to snore. The tablets did more bad than good so I had them changed.

Medicine can cause or worsen your snoring.

Contact your GP to see if you can adjust/change some of the medicine.

Although in many cases, like mine, you cannot change or adjust your medicine that easily. Therefore I looked for an anti snoring mouthpiece and found mine at duo-confort.com. There are many anti snoring mouthpieces all with their own value for the money.

Good luck!
