The finger is still sore and i have been looking for answers to it. For a start,my urine has been very strong, which leads me to think it could be gout. Now i have rang my rheumy nurse this morning but she doubts it is. My hubby had an appt with his dr this morning and he discussed me and the dr thinks it is quite likely gout considering how many drugs i take and how long i have been taking them. We will see what happens on wednesday.xxx

I read up on gout a bit after someone asked a question (Niall I think) recently. It said it almost always starts in the big toes. Have you had problems with your big toes Sylvi? Maybe it's different if you have RA and Fibro though. Hope you find the answer soon. Meanwhile you could try avoiding foods that are high in uric acid as there is a direct connection my GP told me. Tilda x

No it didn't start in my toes tilda,but it could be one way or another. I will see what the week brings. xxx

Glad to know this scam has been sorted out. At least we won't be troubled further by this person. Very weird. Hope everyone is feeling ok. My shoulder is still very painful after the op not helped by going down with cystitis and then a heavy cold. Makes you wonder what else you catch in hospital! See my Rheumy on Friday - he has had a full report from the surgeon as has my GP, hope he will give me a steroid injection as some of my toe joints, fingers and right elbow are very painful and swollen and nothing is helping at the moment.

LL, you ain't half having a time of it aren't you. Cystitis ia a real pain isn't it. I have to say this year hasn't been one of my best,it seems its one thing after another. I think they will give you a steroid jab as you need all the help you can get. I see my rheumy tomorrow and hopefully will get an answer on my fingers as they are sooooo sore. I can't use my middle finger on my right hand and by the end od the day the rest of my fingers are sore as well.

Yes nras has sorted it out for us at the last it was quite frightening to say the least. I have been getting emails saying that my account as been suspended due to someone trying access it. Its odd because i don't have accounts with these people,so i just delete them.
