Painful itch

Hi...I am having a break from MTX due to WBC and I have had a flare in my hands and fingers. I have noticed ,mostly mornings, my fingers itch so painfully but inside not on skin. Has anyone else had this? Pred put up again. Feels like starting all over again. Gentle bank holiday hugs to you all x

Hi, my fingers used to itch before I was on mtx and they were swollen. Hopefully you can get back on your meds soon after your body has time to rest. Would a cold pack help?

Hi, not suffered this but like Paula says a cold pack may help, or sitting with your hands in a bowl of cold water for as long as you can.

i get pins and needle, alot in my hands, and get very cold feet, hope you get things sorted, ,jo,x

Thanks everyone. Will try your tips. Just a quick ask..... Don't do it very often but does anyone have q glass of wine now and again. With going back on M TX this week ,I just wondered x

Yes I think the odd glass is fine although my liver has been up if I have anymore than this. TTx

I have the terribly annoying itching problem, too. Doc said it would go away with thyroid med (Hashimoto's) but it's still here. And losing feelings in tips of fingers but not diabetic. Anyone know anything about this?
