Well here i am on a sunday morning trying to think of some thing to say. My head is in the right place mentally you know what i mean. The rest of my body, well thats another question!!
Yesterday we went to coventry to fill the car up and we went into the range as a bathroom like that we had brought from there needed a new bulb. Easy thing to sort out you would think, com on nothing is easy for us!! They don't sell that type anymore and they don't do the light bulbs anymore either. So we came home as hubby wasn't feeling very well. When we got home his back was very sore, so i got my go faster scooter out and went to bedworth to do the shopping that we needed. Everything went well i got over there ok and i got what was need and more besides,can't go past store 21 and see what they have in the way of clothes now could i..
I came home rather loaded down,but the good old go faster scooter didn't let me down.. Boy was i tire after that job, you see it is the first time since the op that i have been anywhere on it. So i was well chuffed.
Now too this morning, well i am off to homebase to see if i can get a new bathroom light. Hubby has gone down the allotment to get the veg for sunday lunch. Another excuse for going into store 21... I know i can hear you all groaning at me for overdoing it. I promise you i won't be doing much else afterwards.
Hope today i find you all well,i have a few aches and pains,so i will dose up on the painkillers and away i will go.

good to hear you sounding so positive and full of energy. Just trying myself to summon up some energy to do the packing for our camping hol tomorrow. Am really looking forward to it, but this week has not been a great one in way of joint pain and tiredness. Come tomorrow evening I can relax though. Hope your husband is feeling better.
Maybe you should think about buying some shares in Store 21?!
Morning girls, I have to stay positive or i would go under and i am not going to let that happen however hard it gets. The bulb i brought doesn't fit,so it will off to b&q for us. Store 21 was shut so bang went the idea of new clothes. I had a fairly good trip over, but i am tired now so it is a rest for me. Hubby is better,so he went down the allotment to get the veg. Now we are all home.

Wonderful! I've got this image of you whizzing around getting absolutely everything sorted out! Careful or your hubby might think he needs to have a 'sore back' more often! Great to hear you sounding so positive and determined.
We've got 5 people coming to stay this week & I've been doing my bit but rather droopily, if you know what I mean. You've inspired me to try & brighten up a bit!
Christina, I will be paying for it later. I am resting now. I have to keep going and doing it brightly if i can. There are times when life is very hard and this year has been very very hard, so while i can be positive i will and if it gives inspiration to you and others all well and good. xxx
Hi Sylvi, it's so nice to see you getting your life back after such a horrible year. You've done really well and your fighting spirit is an inspiration. Glad to hear your hubby is feeling better now and you can enjoy your lovely veggies from the allotment. We've got a little plot in our back garden and today we'll have home grown cauliflower, cabbage and potatoes. It all tastes so much better when you've grown it yourself! Hope you have a lovely day

I love that 21 store I recently found it not too far from me but bought my granddaughter Stuff for her newly painted bedroom but it looked a good shop so may go back there soon,hope you don't,t have to take too may painkillers and have a restful afternoon xxx
Hi Sylvi, you really do sound more positive. Perhaps it's just what you need, getting out and about more under your own steam. I know your OH is the best but sometimes we do need to be doing things on our own. I think it makes us feel more normal. OK so you will probably suffer for it but we suffer if we don't do anything, well, I do anyway.
You really have all been there and back this year and whilst I am sorry to hear of your OH's bad back (and I hope he is now feeling better), it's like someone has given you a prod to try out your scooter again and regain a little bit of independence and it sounds as though you have very much enjoyed yourself. So good on you Sylvi ! Keep it up if you can. I bet your family are pleased as well.
Judi,yes i did pay for it,but as you say it was great to be able to get out on my own. Had store 21 been opened i would have been able to browse without 20 questions as to why i want to go in there. Hubby is a lot better,it was all down to the fact that we ate so late at night. I am sleeping better which is a big plus. I have always said if i can sleep i can cope. I want to be able to feel useful and doing the shopping is something i can do.
I wish there was a cure for this wretched disease. There are a load of quack remedies out there and boy do they annoy me.

I know what you mean about the shopping ..... I get told when doing food shopping that we dont need a new one of that, only to find a day later we've run out !
Or if I get taken to Matalan I'm told 'I don't mind waiting for you' ..... but all the time someone's huffing and puffing behind me and then I am informed he is going to wait for me in the car. So then I just give up looking.
It's amazing how men just don't understand that us women just like to look, not necessarily buying anything (although in my case that is a very rare happening). Never mind, that's my moaning done for today.

Judi you and your hubby sound just like us. Its always what do you want to go there for and yes we don't need that. I got crafty this morning, we went to asda to do the shopping and i had a quick look at the clothes and then i use the excuse that b&m stores might have the lightbulb we are looking for. So while they did the shopping i went browsing. I got some more clear shoe boxes as i like to be able to see my shoes. Also got some apple water,candles for xmas presents. All thing i wouldn't have been able to get if hubby had been with me.
