Thanks for you comments about the Poem Human Beings.

Hi guys, hope you are all hanging in there as best you can, I posted on here a couple of weeks ago a copy of my poem Human Beings on here and your kind comments helped me send it to a local mental health charity who put me in touch with a publisher and he wanted to see other work and they are considering publsihing me. Your comments helped me when I was feeling really down, I wrote it after a really bad week with the mtx. I wrote a piece about RA shortly after wrtiting Human Beings which I have also submitted for the publsiher to look at as I deal with Bipolar as well as RA. I would love it if RA gets the recognition as this illness and the suffering you all go through is so misunderstood, and so is peoples idea of what RA is. On a another note my easter present from my other half turned up today, an RA prayer bracelet, so I am looking forward to wearing it, it is lovely. Take care all of you, gentle hugs xx

Good for you, and well done - obviously it would be best if you do get this publisher interested but if you don't it's still an achievement. (Just try another publisher - loads of authors of well known pieces (books and etc.) have had to contact more than one publisher before they got anywhere).

hiya, well done mate!! What is an RA prayer bracelet anyway? sounds nice. and Ive made up a name for your illness, wot u think of BIPRA, that bipolar rheumatoid arthritis!! Has a ring to it I think!!

Thank you for all your comments, allanah, the diagnosis you have given me is hilarious, i will use it from now on. In regards to the prayer bracelet a lady in america makes them, she was on RA chicks, and saw a picture, thought that looks good would love one, she makes RA awareness bracelets too. You can certainly have that 5 per cent allanah. Take care all of you and hugs to you all xx gentle of course. x

Good for you! Keep writing, and submitting, it is a wonderful feeling when you see your work printed, with your name on the "by-line"

It is called a prayer bracelet with the RA awareness colours purple and blue with the RA awareness symbol. She advertised a posted a picture of the bracelet on RA chicks, Hope that helps.
